• Creates a physical barrier in front of compressed spring to absorb energy of rapidly decompressing spring Bright yellow highlights importance of safe operation Fits all existing Strut Tamer II, mounts in between Strut Tamer and stand or wall Open design allows access to top and bottom of shock-strut assembly for easy removal and replacement of cartridge The OTC6637-5 Strut Tamer Safety Cage attaches to the 6637-ST Strut Tamer with stand, or behind 6637 Strut Tamer when wall-mounted, including previous Strut Tamer versions, adding an extra layer of protection when rebuilding shock-strut assemblies. Constructed of 1″ structural steel tubing and expanded carbon steel mesh to minimize the energy impact of a broken or rapidly decompressing coil spring. Its open design allows for access to top and bottom of shock-strut assembly for easy removal and replacement of cartridge. Strut Tamer not included.
